3 Women Settle Lawsuit Against Former Franklin Manor Owner Alleged Sexual Assault
Three women who sued the former owner of Franklin Manor last year for alleged sexual assault have settled and all three have signed confidentiality agreements.
The lawsuit named Lanfranco Pescante who allegedly sexually assaulted the three women with former co-owner of Franklin Manor, David Anderson. They claim Anderson knew, or “should have known that Pescante was unfit, dangerous, and a threat to the health, safety and welfare of women entrusted to him.”
Two of the women were employees and say they were assaulted, one, by Pescante coercing her to engage in sexual acts, “in exchange for preferential treatment, including preferential sections or tables within the night club.”
One woman who was never an employee claims she was raped by Pescante after going to a Lightning game back in 2017. During the game she says he coerced her to drink a lot and take shots, “despite her reluctance and growing impairment.”
Later, at his apartment he allegedly tried to undress her even though she repeatedly said, “NO!” She then lost consciousness woke up naked next to Pescante who was also nude and then realized her “had raped her after she was incapable of consenting.”
“Alvarez said all three woman have settlement agreements and signed confidentiality agreements. Pescante and Anderson are no longer with Nocturnal Hospitality Group, according to annual reports filed with Florida’s Secretary of State.”
