CBS announced the castings yesterday, and it was a surprise for many that a local familiar face will be on appearing weekly on national television.
This year’s season of ‘Big Brother’ will be a little different than the previous few seasons. Earlier this week, producers revealed to US Magazine that houseguests will compete in teams as a featured twist. Not only will teams shake up the game, but so will the new “BB Beach Club” theme.
Beach club? Being from Sarasota, it sounds like Alyssa Lopez is already one step ahead.
‘Big Brother’ is a reality competition series where houseguests are locked inside a house with cameras watching their every move. Each week, a “head of household” puts up two houseguests for eviction, and other houseguests vote to eliminate them. After about 90 days, one winner gets crowned and wins the grand prize of $500,000.
Big Brother premieres on Wednesday July 7 at 8 P.M. with a 90 minute live move-in episode on CBS.
Good luck Alyssa!
