Tampa Officers Buy Alcohol & Lap Dances During Undercover Operation, Now Under Internal Investigation

Several Tampa Police Officers are under an internal investigation after they went to a local strip club and bought alcohol, lap dances and watched exotic dancers strip during a so-called ‘undercover operation’.

A Tampa police sergeant has been disciplined after a so-called investigation at Gold Club Ybor City back in 2020.

The internal affairs report says officers who went to the strip club but when questioned about it every single cop gave different reports as to why they were there to begin with spending tax payer money. After they spent $421 on dancers and more they shockingly came up with no new leads.

All together they were at strip club for three hours spending money on cover charges, drinks and dancers. Also, each officer bought their own lap dance.

“The supervisor of the operation, Sgt. Daniel Rhodes, said along with finding drug suspects, the operation was meant to gather intelligence on an Ybor City shooting suspect who had ties to one of the dancers.”
