Clearwater Spanx Founder Sara Blakely Gifts Staff $10,000 And Two First-Class Plane Tickets Anywhere
Clearwater’s own Sara Blakely who’s the founder of Spanx celebrated her company being valued at $1.2 billion by giving all of her employees a fantastic once in a lifetime gift! She decided to give all of her 500 employees two first-class plane tickets to anywhere in the world and $10,000 spending money to enjoy while traveling.
Last week she decided to sell her company to the investment management company Blackstone who purchased a majority stake in Spanx making the company worth $1.2 billion.
Blakely announced the sale with a party where she announced that she would gift all of her employees two first-class Delta flights to anywhere in the world, plus an additional $10,000 cash spending money on the trip.
