Controversial ‘Suicide Pod’ That ‘Kills Peacefully’ Gets Go-Ahead In Switzerland
A new suicide pod that’s more like a coffin-looking capsule will allow people to end their life could be up and running in Switzerland by next year.
The new ‘Sarco Suicide Pod’ lets the user enter, lie down and start the process themselves within minutes. Before it activates the machine will ask a series of questions and then will bring the oxygen levels down to a critical level.
Nitrogen then fills the inside quickly making the oxygen levels go down from 21% to only 1% in just about 30 seconds.
The person will then feeling disorientated and euphoric before they lose consciousness.
