The dried plum, better known as the prune, could be the secret to keeping the holiday pounds at bay! The University of Liverpool did a 12-week research study that made this discovery. It showed when dieters ate more prunes they controlled their appetite better, consumed less calories, and even lost more weight when compared to other people who ate different snacks.
How much weight loss are we talking about? The prune group lost 4.4 pounds versus 3.4 pounds in the other group.
