Bill Tries To Again Ban Smoking On Florida Beaches To Save Environment & Wildlife
If you’ve been to the beach you might’ve noticed a nice mixture of white sand and cigarette butts you’re walking on which can be frustrating.
Well, Florida senator Joe Gruter has worked for years to fix this issue and he is again sponsoring a bill that would allow counties and cities to ban smoking on beaches to help clean them up and protect our environment and wildlife.
This is the fourth time the senator has sponsored the bill which he says he says he wants to make safer and more attractive to visitors.
