Weekdays 6AM - 10AM

A Hillsborough County deputy was bitten by a man that was high on meth early Thursday (4/28) morning.

It happened at 3000 block of Causeway Boulevard just before 12:30 a.m. after multiple people called police reporting they saw a man darting in and out of traffic.

When officers tried to talk to him he ran away! They caught up with the man, restrained him, then he reportedly bit one of the deputies several times.

After he was taken to the hospital they found several drugs in his system, including meth.
