Largo Man Found Dead After Searching For Frisbees In Gator-Filled Lake
A man was found dead after he tried to find his frisbee in the water and ran into a gator!
The man’s body was found Tuesday morning in Taylor Lake in John S. Taylor Park in Largo, a suburb of St. Petersburg near Clearwater.
The lake is right next to a disc golf course with signs everywhere that say you’re not supposed to swim. Right now it’s alligator-mating season which means the gators are more active than usual.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said they’re “working to remove a nearby alligator and efforts will be made to determine if it was involved in this situation.”
