Clearwater Man Stabbed His Mother To Death After Planning Her Murder For A Year
Hearing a story like this just ruined my day. Reports tell us that A Clearwater man has been charged with murdering his own mother on Saturday. The Clearwater police department said that they received a call from a person who lived in the Palsm at Country side apartments when she heard a woman screaming for help.When officers arrived, they found Mary Lopez dead in an apartment that belonged to her son. Logan Lopez told officers he lured his mother into his home after planning to kill her for a year.
Mary Lopez went to her sons house because he asked her to take him to the mall. Reports sa he then came up behind her with a hammer and beat her. After he beat her he stabbed her multiple times. A Clearwater man has been charged with murdering his own mother in a year-long plot Saturday, according to police. According to the department, Logan Lopez had no criminal history but was taken into custody under the Baker Act. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
