NBA Hall of Famer and mega mogul, Shaq is coming to Tampa and bringing Big Chicken! Earlier in the year, it was widely reported that Shaquille O’Neal was striking a deal with Panhandle Restaurant Group. Now with pen put to paper, DMD Ventures joins with Shaq Diesel to bring Big Chicken to multiple cities, including here in Tampa. Creative Loafing reports, “we can expect Big Chicken locations in Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami“. There is no timeline for the chicken spots to appear, but hopefully it’s after I finished keto. With menu offerings such as the “Big & Sloppy” (chicken sandwich with mac & cheese, crispy fried onions and sauce), I’m gonna need my carbs back quickly! Leave it to Shaq to motivate me to get less fluffy! Then my return to carbohydrates can be as glorious as humanly possible! Don’t miss out, Shaq is coming to Tampa!

When out this weekend, remember you can get face to face (well, face to waist) with the new chicken king, as he headed to WTR. Shaq’s alter-ego, in the DJ world is “DJ Diesel” and he’s playing Godfrey Hotel hotspot WTR, on Saturday, September 10th. This return to the venue is guaranteed to bring em out to party with Shaq Fu (yet another alias). Apparently the man has as many nicknames as streams of income. Movies such as “Blonde” (the story of Marilyn Monroe) and “Elvis“, in theaters now, have Shaq’s large stamp, as well. Authentic Brands Group bought the likeness of this basketball wonder and in turn, Big Shaq became a partner.
