2nd School Threat In A Week
Just days after video showed students running in a panic, Parrish Community High has had their 2nd school threat in a week. This post to the school’s supporter page shows officers arriving this morning. According to reports, the lockdowns on Wednesday and Thursday were misdirected responses to medical emergencies. Coupled with unfounded rumors, and confusion, panic ensued. School officials attempted to clear any confusion but are still battling irresponsible actors. Parents and teaching staff surely pay attention to the 2nd school threat in a week.
Parrish High parents posted a need for answers to why lockdowns are so prevalent lately. Others are understandably frightened. One frustrated parent, J.R. Lynn Ouellette posted: “withdrawing my kid TODAY. I BET IF PARENTS DID WE’D GET ANSWERS.” Parent Amy Lynn commented: “PCHS, a BIG thank you to you for improving the response time of keeping us parents in the loop. Parents, guardians, etc; how about we also teach our children that calling in / posting false threats is WRONG? It’s not funny.”
