A Florida man allegedly stole a SUV, crashed into a building, and then ran from deputies in search of WiFi. Deputies noticed a stolen SUV driving in Daytona Beach. The alleged car thief was Michael Barr. When deputies attempt to pull him over, he took off.
During the pursuit, Barr allegedly jumped out of the SUV while it was still moving and the vehicle ended up crashing into the building. Deputies found in a motel room and made the arrest. Barr told authorities that his friends left him in Miami so he hitchhiked to Kissimmee, where he allegedly stole the vehicle to go find an internet connection.

He was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, unlawful carrying of a concealed firearm and a whole slew of other charges. [Source: Fox News]
