I despise people who harm or attempt to harm children. Back in March I was so upset finding out that the missing boy from St. Petersburg was found dead. Im happy that this story did not turn out like that. Reports tell us that A 6-year-old girl ruined a kidnappers plan when she bit him and ran away after he attempted to abduct her from her apartment complex in Miami.
The little girl who showed so much bravery was outside in the courtyard of her apartment complex when her siblings noticed a white Range Rover parked nearby. The child was then approached by 32-year-old Leonardo Venegas who grabbed the young girl by the arm and began carrying her away.
The young girl then forcefully bit Venegas on the arm! That caused him to drop her and then he slapped her. Thankfully she was able to escape. Venegas was arrested and charged with kidnapping and child abuse causing no great bodily harm. Venegas also had a warrant for an expired driver’s license and a warrant for an immigration violation.
I love living in Florida! I have been here since 2012 and wouldn’t change it for the world. Ive lived in Fort Myers and currently live in St. Petersburg.
