This Tampa Pizzeria Was Ranked As One Of The Best In America
Who doesn’t love pizza? No need to look around, because the answer is no one. I know having a list of the best pizza spots is more of an opinion, but what if one of those spots got national recognition? Look no further, Tampa has got one! Let me introduce you to Fabrica, one of the best pizza joints in America!
Fabrica
If you want to try the United States’ 15th ranked pizzeria, you just have to travel to 142 S Meridian Ave. This downtown Tampa pizzeria jumped up 34 ranks from it’s previous spot at number 49. Although there is another location in Saint Petersburg, Fabrica’s base in Tampa has earned them national and international accolades. The top 15 Pizza’s will automatically be added to the Top 50 Pizza’s ranking of the 100 best pizzerias in the world. The World ranking list will be revealed in Naples on September 13.
Other Florida Pizza Ranks
As much as I would like to say that Tampa has the best pizza in Florida, we can’t. There are 2 other pizza spots that ranked higher on Robb Report’s list. Miami made a strong showing in the rankings with 3 spots. At number 11, we have La Leggenda Pizzeria. Taking the crown for Florida’s best pizza and the only Florida pizzeria to break the top 10 was 0′ Munaciello. The only spot that Fabrica ranked higher than in the state of Florida was Miami beach’s PizzElla. Now I may be a bit bias, but I think Tampa has way better pizza than Miami. So we have some work to do Tampa.
Tampa has been making some progress on the list, but the competition seems to be getting harder according to Robb Report project curators Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro, and Albert Sapere. ““The American pizza movement is very active right now, with a new generation of artisans who are ever more careful with the quality of their product and their ingredients. It is a trend that has been particularly noticeable over the last year.”

6 Places In Tampa Bay Where You Can Get A Heart-Shaped Pizza
Give your valentine a “pizza” your heart! What’s a better way of saying “be mine?” than a heart-shaped pizza? It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day meal that can be made just how you want. The hardest part is finding a place that will make it for you on one of the busiest days of the year. Well, don’t worry because we did the work for you! Here are 6 places in the Tampa Bay area where you can order a Valentine’s Day-themed pizza. We got the idea from delish.com but catered our list to feature more local places than only big chains.
Note that some of these places are not offering it as a promotional special, but may be willing to accommodate your order if they aren’t slammed. If you plan on going out this year, we always recommend making a reservation.
The perk with ordering through the chains is they may be offering the deal for a little bit longer than local businesses. When we were doing our research we found most places will do it by request or just for one day. But it’s definitely better to order locally. It doesn’t matter if you’re spending February 14 with your boo, your friends, or just yourself. As long as you have a heart-shaped pizza, that’s all you need. The best part is pizza will never break your heart.
One honorary mention we want to include is Aldi. We heard that they are selling frozen heart-shaped pizzas, but they are flying off the shelves fast so you may have to go to more than one location. Are there any places we missed? Let us know on social media!

Rich also worked at several clubs in Tampa as a host/promoter where he would meet and work alongside Davy Rolando, who would be the one who would help him get a job at WiLD 94.1. From there, Rich worked his way up from Promotions assistant to promotions coordinator, to eventually full-time on-air.
