This is disgusting and yes you read the headline right! “Florida rapper arrested after pointing a gun at his wife’s chest while she held their baby.” Have you heard of the rapper Gunplay? He is signed to Rick Ross’s label, and now he is in jail at the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department.
Gunplay faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and child abuse. According to his wife, he pointed an AK-47 at her while she was holding their daughter. She is now filling for divorce and I don’t blame her.
What Happened?
His wife, Vonshae told police that when her and Gunplay got home from dinner he began to play his Xbox. She had no problem with him playing but he was being very loud. According to her he was also intoxicated. Vonshae says he became very violent when she asked him to keep the noise down.First he began trowing glass liquor bottles and cups in her direction. She was holding their baby and had to cover her up for safety. She then says he picked up an Ak-47 and pointed against her chest. He threatened her saying “I will blow your shit back.”Vonshae says she tried to leave but Gunplay blocked her exit and tried to grab the baby by her neck and head. Gunplay decided to leave once Vonshae began screaming for help. When police arrived Gunplay denied all allegations. He was still arrested and booked on charges.

“I just want everyone to know my daughter and I are safe. Unfortunately, Richard is back using and developed a very bad drinking problem. I’ve tried everything in my power to help him and love him. To summarize last night event. I asked Richard to quiet down as he scared the baby sleeping by yelling playing call of duty. He started going off on me for asking him to be quiet. I tried to collect a bag so my daughter and I can go to a room while he sobers up. He didn’t want us to leave and things went left fast. He was arrested last night, the weapon is in police custody. I have a restraining order, my daughter is in my custody and I am filing for divorce. He will never get the chance to disrespect us again.”
Which Florida City Made The List With Highest Murder Rates In U.S.
There’s lots to love about the Sunshine State, but we’re also notorious for the craziest crimes. One Florida city even ranked in the top 15 for highest murder rates in America. It’s not really a list we love to see Florida on, but we can’t say we’re not surprised with all the insane stuff that happens here.
Our friends at neighboorhoodscout.com ranked the top 30 cities in the country with the highest murder rates per 1,000 residents. They condensed their research by including cities with 25,000 or more people. They collected their data by the number of murders reported to the FBI to have occurred in each city, and the population of each city. The city population data comes straight from the US Bureau of the Census at the time of each analysis. For instance, the 2022 list population uses 2020 population figures. The 2021 list uses 2019 figures, and so forth.
There were 14 new cities making the list this year. “The newcomer on this list with the highest murder rate is Saginaw, MI. The number of murders in Saginaw more than doubled from the previous year.” Thankfully (and surprisingly) only one Florida city was ranked in the research.
