This Store Is Offering $25 Thanksgiving Dinners For 4
Now that Halloween has passed, it’s time to start budgeting for the holiday season. Of course, you have to set aside some money for Christmas gifts, but don’t forget about the holiday that comes first, THANKSGIVING! Usually, this wouldn’t be seen as a problem, but this year Thanksgiving dinner is going to be a bit more expensive than usual.
A report from the Wells Fargo Agri-Food Institute found that Americans will be paying more for Thanksgiving dinner this year. The reason? Inflation! Though the cost of turkey is down about 10 percent from last year, the cost of all of the other ingredients to your Thanksgiving dinner is more expensive than in years past. Since ham has reached a record high in retail price and canned foods cost more to transport, everyone is feeling the effects this holiday season. Everyone except the people getting their Thanksgiving food from Target.
Target Deal
If you have 4 or fewer people to feed this Thanksgiving, Target is hooking you up with a $25 dinner! That’s right, $25 which gets you 5 pounds of potatoes, 12 ounces of turkey gravy, 14.5 ounces of green beans, 6 ounces of turkey stuffing mix, and a 10-pound frozen turkey. That’s not it though, you also get to enjoy a 14-ounce can of cranberry sauce and a 22-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup. Now that’s a deal!
If you feel like splurging a bit, you can pay an extra $10 and add chopped mushrooms, crispy onion rings, and garlic & herb seasoning for the turkey. For an extra $5, Target also offers Favorite Day apple crisp ice cream, pumpkin spice soft sandwich cookies, and mini pecan pies. Trying to get your drink on? Target has got your back with that too. For $5, you can enjoy a bottle of California Roots cabernet sauvignon red wine, chardonnay white wine, bellante prosecco or bellante prosecco rosé.
What do you think, is this a good deal?
