Florida Woman Tries To Eat Counterfeit Cash During Arrest
A Florida woman was arrested after she was allegedly caught using counterfeit money at Walmart. After she was caught with the fake money she tried to eat the counterfeit cash while being detained by police. The woman named Zipporah Abraham, 38, is now behind bars and charged with several things including third-degree grand theft and uttering forged bills.
How Did She Eat The Counterfeit Cash:
According to Fox35Orlando, a Walmart loss prevention officer was notified that Abraham was using fake money to pay for items. Next, they inspected the store’s surveillance footage, they realized Abraham had been doing this several times. While Abraham’s was being arrested that’s when she tried to eat the counterfeit cash. On the security footage she was seen hiding several products. Then she would walk back and forth, waiting for the perfect opportunity to leave the store with the stolen items.
On camera, you can see her try to walk out of the store with the storage bin holding the items. But this time she was was stopped by the loss prevention officer. Abraham was taken to the back office for an investigation. They opened up the storage bin and discovered all the unpaid item totaling $864.77. Finally, they asked her to take off her jewelry and that’s when she put $200 worth of counterfeit bills in her mouth! She tried to eat all her counterfeit cash. She was taken into custody and remains on $10,000 bond. It’s crazy that she tried to eat all the fake money she had on her at the time.
