The Newest Trend Has Women Standing While They Pee
The newest trend has women standing while the pee instead of siting down. This has been attempted many times in the past by women but most of the time it’s unsuccessful. Whether you’re stuck in a packed parking lot or standing in long line waiting for the women’s restroom, it can be painful to hold it. Many women have found that standing at a urinal while peeing can be a helpful hack to release the situation.
The Newest Trend Has Women Standing While They Pee:
Men have been able to stand and pee since the beginning of time. It’s convenient, quick and much more sanitary than having to sit on the toilet. Men can easily take out their ‘situation’ and discretely urinate anywhere they want, especially in a bind. However, it’s not so simple for women. For us ladies, standing while we pee takes a lot of effort and can cause some immediate damage if done wrong. Normally, this happens in an emergency or dire situation.
The last time Meredith from Wild 94.1 was forced to go to the bathroom like this she was in Jacksonville, Florida. She was hanging out at The Landing which was an outdoor shopping center at the time. On that particular day, the city was hosting ‘The Largest Cocktail Party in the World’ during the University of Florida vs. University of Georgia college football game. After the game ends, everyone walks over to The Landing to drink and celebrate their team’s victory. However, it gets so busy that the lines get extremely long and it’s almost impossible to use the bathroom. Instead of waiting, Meredith took it upon herself to go inside a photobooth, close the curtain and stand while peeing directly into her empty large beer cup. It worked like a charm and surprised her at the same time.
Why Are Women Standing While They Pee:
Most women have at least attempted this once in their lifetime. But without experience, it most likely never happens again. Mainly because it makes too much of a mess and it can be quite uncomfortable. However, if you’re stuck somewhere and can’t find a bathroom, squatting with your legs far apart is always better. If you see women trying to stand while peeing, it’s because many videos are currently trending online. One woman needed to go to the restroom, in the middle eating dinner with her boyfriend. He wondered where she was so he opened up the bathroom door and saw her standing over the toilet. Click HERE to see one video that’s gone viral.
No, You Don't Really Look Like Your Selfies - Here's Why
Have you ever felt that you looked really good, but then after taking a selfie, think, “Oh, my gosh. I look horrible. Please tell me I don’t really look like that.” Well, the good news is that you don’t. There are a lot of factors that are in play when it comes to selfies. The truth is that selfies can really distort your look. That said, people have actually hated their mirror image since the beginning of time, Psychology Today points out, but that’s not what’s happening here. So, no, you don’t really look like your selfies, and here’s why.
Before we get into the reasons, it’s safe to say we can blame the digital age. “Every digital camera uses algorithms to transform the different wavelengths of light that hit its sensor into an actual image,” The Atlantic explains. There’s an actual science about this that I’ll get into below. But, before we get into the fakeness of selfies, here are some tips on getting a good “selfie” that look at least more like you than what you’re used to getting with your camera phone.
My friend and coworker Kayla Morgan is all over TikTok, and she’s also noticed influencers talk about the selfie game. “I’ve seen many influencers on platforms like Instagram and TikTok share their ‘secrets’ to the perfect videos and selfies,” she says. So, what’s the secret? “That secret is using your back camera, not the front. It makes perfect sense! My back camera has three different lenses, while my front camera facing me only has one. You can definitely see the difference in my content as well as other influencers I follow on social media.” That’s a great tip. I’ve been shooting music videos for my band, Upon Wings, lately, and I’ve been using only the selfie camera. It’s not looking right, so I’m going to give that a try. Experiment with using the back camera and remember, no matter what, you don’t really look like that.
Now, read on for the science behind why you don’t really look like your selfies.
