This is absolutely heartbreaking and I hope they find her! ” Tampa woman kidnapped near USF and police need our help.” What’s scary is that the person police believe kidnapped her already had a warrant for out for his arrest in St. Petersburg ( Pinellas County). According to reports, the incident happened around 1:30 am Thursday Morning.
Tampa Woman Kidnapped This Morning Near USF
Hillsborough county sheriff’s spoke to witnesses who said they saw Jayanna Clark being forced into a black Nissan sedan by two people. Where did this happen? In the area of Bordeaux Village Place in Tampa, near the University of South Florida. Her photo is pictured in the video below.
Also pictured in the video is the man police believed kidnapped her. Jahvontae Bell is the suspect and he already had a warrant out for is arrest in Pinellas County on armed kidnapping charges. According to Clark’s relatives, Jayanna and Jahvontae were previously in a relationship and this is not the first time that he tried to kidnap her.
Bell was previously arrested for domestic violence in Pinellas County. After he completed a court-ordered program, the charges were dismissed. In 2021 warrants show that Bell repeatedly punched Clark which caused bruises and other injuries. At the time, Clark also told police she was in fear for her life and hesitated to call police because Bell allegedly made threats to kill her.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said “If you see something or know anything about her whereabouts, please reach out to our detectives.” Bell is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, officials encourage you to not approach and to call 813-247-8200.
