Goodnight Pops…
Today we said goodnight to our longest running guest of Orlando and the Freakshow.
Through many variations of the show, from 2007 til his upcoming December date at Tampa Bay Improv, #JohnWitherspoon, “Pops”, has always brought fun, crazy laughter, advice, and sage wisdom to our show.
His comedic genius and ability to remain current, at 77-years-old, was only topped by his adoration for his wife Angela and sons Alex and JD.
We, at WiLD 94-1, truly felt like his family, as well. I’m crushed that I don’t get one more time with him, while hanging off every story, but elated that I got to watch him live. He deserves rest. I pray that he isn’t in Heaven’s kitchen, trying to whip up ANYTHING from his YouTube show.
Love you, Pops. Say hi to my, and Mark’s dad, and tell them some of the incredible stories about this life you’ve lived. Blessings Spoon.
