UPDATE! Dog Abandoned At Animal Shelter Because Owners Thought He Was Gay Adopted

Poor puppy!!! A dog was abandoned by his new adopted family and sent back to the animal shelter because the owner thought the dog was gay. Well, we have an exciting update for you!!! The dog has been adopted by a gay couple in North Carolina.

The couple felt a connection to the dog after the story that was posted online about him. They changed the dog’s name to Oscar to honor the Irish poet Oscar Wilde, who was also gay.

The 5-year-old dog is now at a shelter in North Carolina after his owners caught him humping another male dog.

The shelter posted the dogs story of abandonment and received a tons of new applications for adoption.
