Orlando: Girl 10, Shoots Neighbor Who Got In Fight With Her Mother

A 10-year-old girl from Orlando shot and killed a neighbor who was fighting with her mother.

Lashun Rodgers, 41, lost her life outside an apartment complex on Memorial Day after the girl’s mother, Lakrisha Isaac, 31, handed her daughter her purse with had a gun inside. The girl took the gun out and fired two rounds killing Lashun.

A witness said he heard the girl shout, “She shouldn’t have hit my momma.”

The mother and daughter were taken into custody and Lakrisha was arrested on charges of manslaughter by culpable negligence, child neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and aggravated assault with a firearm.

The Police Department of Orlando said, any charges for the girl will be decided after a review by the State Attorney’s Office.
