Police Need Help Identifying Dead Woman Who Was Found In Suitcases On Florida Beach
On July 21st there were 3 suitcases with human remains found in a body of water on Delray Beach. Sadly A dead woman was found in suitcases and police need our help. I feel awful for this victim and the person who discovered the suitcases. I live near St. Pete beach and would be devastated if I saw something like this.
The Delray Police department tells us that they now have a better idea of who the victim may be. Last Wednesday, Delray Beach Police Sgt. Casey Kelly shared reconstructed photos of the woman. They say she was possibly killed between July 17-20, 2023. Her remains were found in the Intracoastal Waterway in Delray Beach shortly after 4 p.m. Thankfully a person called 911 on July 21st to report something strange in the water.

The woman is believed to be white or Hispanic and between 35-55 years old. They say she is 5 foot 4 inches tall with possible brown hair and tattooed eyebrows. She was wearing a floral top and the brand was Betzabe. Police also would like us to know that the victim was found in unique pieces of luggage. The first is a purple Palm Springs Ricardo Beverly Hills bag. The second is a green and black polka dot Charlie Sport bag.
If you live along the intracoastal waterway in Delray Beach police are asking that you view your video surveillance cameras during the specified times. If you think you recognize the victim, please give the police a call. Hopefully residents in that area actually check their footage and report any and everything suspicious to the police. Let’s get this woman and her family justice. Which Florida City Made The List With Highest Murder Rates In U.S.
There’s lots to love about the Sunshine State, but we’re also notorious for the craziest crimes. One Florida city even ranked in the top 15 for highest murder rates in America. It’s not really a list we love to see Florida on, but we can’t say we’re not surprised with all the insane stuff that happens here.
Our friends at neighboorhoodscout.com ranked the top 30 cities in the country with the highest murder rates per 1,000 residents. They condensed their research by including cities with 25,000 or more people. They collected their data by the number of murders reported to the FBI to have occurred in each city, and the population of each city. The city population data comes straight from the US Bureau of the Census at the time of each analysis. For instance, the 2022 list population uses 2020 population figures. The 2021 list uses 2019 figures, and so forth.
There were 14 new cities making the list this year. “The newcomer on this list with the highest murder rate is Saginaw, MI. The number of murders in Saginaw more than doubled from the previous year.” Thankfully (and surprisingly) only one Florida city was ranked in the research.
