Tropical Storm Delta Forecast To Head To The Gulf
It’s been a busy year in the tropics and we have another tropical storm churning in the Caribbean.
According to the NHC’s 11 a.m. update, the system is about 135 miles south of Negril, Jamaica, with winds of 45 mph. The system is moving west at 7 mph.
It is forecasted to turn into a hurricane as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico.
Something for the Tampa Bay area to keep an eye on, but Florida is currently outside of the forecast cone. Our friends in Louisiana may be greeted by Delta Thursday into Friday.
