Tampa Woman Fights Off Attacker In Apartment Complex’s Gym
A woman living in Hillsborough County fights off her attacker as he tried to assault her at their apartment gym complex.
What the man didn’t know is that Nashali Alma, 24, is a body builder who’s always in the gym working out. When the man showed up to the gym at The Oaks of Woodland Park Apartments in Tampa she let the suspect inside because she had seen him in there previously.
Alma said, “Usually, people forget their key tags and fobs. We do let them in and so I let the gentleman in. I didn’t think twice about letting him in. I was in the middle of my workout.”
In the incredible surveillance video you can see Alma letting him inside the gym, then she continued her workout as Xavier Thomas-Jones walked up to her. At first he attempted to grab her waist but she pushed him away and was able to fight off her attacker.
