If you guessed that California as the most expensive to live in then you’d be correct. As a matter of fact, someone who makes over $300,000 a year in Cali is considered middle class! Five Florida cities made the Top 100 list including St. Petersburg at the very top. St. Petersburg is #53 with a middle class range of $42,974 to $128,282. Tampa is the next city coming in at #54 and that has a middle class range is $42,481 to $126,808. At least living in Florida the middle class range a much lower than other states.
