Rays Baseball Serves A New Seating Section
Tampa is watching as Tropicana Field is on fire so Rays Baseball serves a new seating section for fans to enjoy. He’s number 56 on your lineup card but number 1 in your hearts, especially if you’re in section 141! Randy Arozarena has his own space for fans to celebrate the slugger. Welcome to Randy Land. Every Friday, you can commingle with other fans of our favorite left fielder, in his newly named, left field section. Tickets are only $49 and each seat comes with a Randy Arozarena t-shirt, with 4 different designs rotated throughout the season. There’s also a great chance to kick it, when the defense takes the field, since the section is right behind the man. When Randy hits a homerun, fans in the Randy Land section (141) score a free Bud or Bud Light, soda or water.
Randy Arozarena is a fiery ball of energy for our lineup, at bat or in the field. Aside from his Cuban heritage, Randy defected to Mexico in 2020, where his toddler daughter resides. He made the switch in honor of her, and his time playing ball there, as well. In October of last year, Arozarena announced he would represent Mexico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The slugger lead the Mexico in most categories with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador calling Randy “a phenomenon” for his performance in the tourney. Just over a week ago, at Tropicana Field, he was presented selection to the All-Classic Team, with a unanimous vote.
