Post Malone Gifts Cherished Guitar To Little Girl After Tampa Concert
Imagine going to your favorite artists concert and at the end of the show, they gift you one of their most cherished possessions with their signature on it… To some it might seem like an impossible dream scenario, but that’s exactly what happened last night to one lucky little girl at the Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre after the Post Malone Concert. The best part, I was there to witness all of the magic.
Post Malone’s Gift
In a video posted on instagram by @jonraycha, you can see Post Malone interacting with fans after his “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying ” Tour show in Tampa. In the beginning of the video, you can hear a little girl asking for Post’s guitar. The Congratulations artist answers her by saying “It’s like a $5000 guitar… You have to promise me you’re going to take care of it”. After she agrees, he goes backstage to retrieve the guitar. Several moments pass, but to the little girls relief Post Malone reemerges with a guitar in hand. Not just any guitar, but Malone’s favorite guitar. Post again makes the little girl promise that she will take care of the guitar, this time solidifying the verbal contract with a Pinky Promise. She immediately agrees by entangling pinkys and that was followed by him signing the guitar. What a moment!
Post Malone Live In Concert
It was a relief for me to see Post Malone live, especially after reports that fans were worried about Malone’s health. Many people, as well as news outlets, speculated that Post was battling addiction following several videos of him performing. However, after watching him perform live in Tampa, it is clear Malone’s stage antics and mannerisms are all about showmanship. To me, Post was just channeling his inner Freddy Mercury or Steve Perry to project his inner “Rockstar”. From the opening track “Better Now”, to his finale with “congratulations”, Malone had the audience captivated with his singing, guitar play and candid dancing all around the stage. My favorite part of the night was when all the cell phone lights illuminated the Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre while everyone sang the words to “I Fall Apart”.
