St. Pete Rapper Rod Wave Arrested For Ammo
St. Petersburg, Florida rapper Rod Wave was arrested again! This time Rod Wave was arrested in Manatee County for ammo by a convicted felon. Depending on the state, federal law states that criminals can not buy ammunition. This isn’t his first time Rod Wave, 25, has been arrested. In 2022 he was arrested and charged with battery by strangulation. Apparently, he got into an argument with his baby momma and police were called. He was also arrested in 2020 in Atlanta for punching a promoter.
St. Pete Rapper Rod Wave Arrested Again:
This time Rod Wave, who’s real name is Rodarius Marcell Green was arrested for ammo by convicted felon. According to website Medium, they describe the legal restrictions for felons saying, “Whether or not a felon can buy ammunition rests on the laws of the place where they live. Federal law says that criminals can’t buy ammunition. The idea behind this rule is to keep people with crime records from getting their hands on tools that could be dangerous.”
According to TampaBayTimes, back in 2022 he got into a bad argument with the mother of his children and police were called. Police arrived that evening and he was charged with battery by strangulation. Green was arrested on a warrant originating out of Osceola County. According to the St. Petersburg Police Department he was arrested at 5119 Venetian Boulevard NE on Sunday night. He was riding in a 2021 Grey Dodge Durango that he owned. This isn’t his first run in with the police, Green was arrested in 2020 in Atlanta after a stage collapsed during his performance and he punched a promoter. After that he faced a battery charge in the altercation.
Rod Wave loves to give back to the community he’s from St. Pete. Recently, he gave away $25,000 at a local gas station and stays active in the community, trying to make a difference. The Bay area loves him and always shows him love.

I moved to St. Petersburg in 2019 and I must say, living in the Sunshine State has been fun! I have never gotten in trouble with the law but many of my friends have. The warm weather seems to have an impact on people and it’s not always good! Every day there is a “Florida Man/Woman” headline in the news. Many of the stories are funny but sadly always involve crimes being committed.
