5 Father’s Day Events To Attend If You Don’t Have Anything Planned
It’s alright, you can admit it. We are just a few days away from Father’s Day and you don’t have anything planned yet. The sad truth is most fathers are used to not having Father’s Day treated as importantly as Mother’s Day, but I’m here to change that. I’m going to do everyone in Tampa a favor and give you 5 Father’s Day events to attend if you don’t have anything planned.
Superstar Dad Celebration
Not only is this one of the biggest Father’s Day celebrations in the Tampa area, but also one of the cheapest seeing it is FREE to attend. All you have to do is REGISTER FOR THE EVENT HERE! This is the first-ever Superstar Dad Celebration with Bullard Family Foundation with the help of many fabulous companies to celebrate the unsung heroes of our community, Dads! It’s located at the MidFlorida Amphitheatre, and everyone is invited. Doors open at 10:01 AM with food, entertainment, games, resources and special celebrity guests. There will also be six high school bands performing, many surprises and Titus even had thousands of jerseys printed up with that back reading #1 Dad. He will be handing all those out during the fun event. Titus has always expressed that the best title he earned wasn’t WWE Champion, but the title of father. So he is sharing the special day by highlighting dads in the area.
Fathers Play Free At Family Fun Center
Golf on a Sunday is a dream for some dads, but some family members don’t want to waste the entire day playing a full 18 holes. I got the perfect compromise. On Sunday from noon till 10pm, the Family Fun Center in Lakeland is celebrating Father’s Day by gifting Dads a free game of mini golf. The only catch is you need at least one paid guest.
DadFest 2024
Think your dad has skills on the grill?! Put them to the test at the DadFest BBQ Cook-Off! The family can also enjoy a day filled with cornhole, ping pong, free koozies, dad’s root beer, axe throwing, more prizes, and family fun. It’s all going down beginning at 10 am at Relevant Church in Ybor . Just make sure you register Dad for the Cook-Off before it’s too late!
Father’s Day Family Paint Party
If you’re looking for something a bit more intimate and tranquil for the family, try the family paint party in Pinellas Park at Painting With A Twist. It will cost you a $39 ticket per person, but this will ensure your spot in the painting class and an area for your family. You are welcome to bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer and other food or snacks. All refreshments are BYO (Bring Your Own). Painting with a twist will provide cups, napkins and corkscrews. These classes are intended for ADULT painters, although they will permit painters aged 10-20 if accompanied by an adult.
Dad’s Day Out Car Show
After you give Dad that tie, take him to the DAD’S DAY OUT Car Show by Racers and Rods. from 4pm – 7pm, the Quaker Steak and Lube in Clearwater will be invaded by the coolest cars in the bay. Of course, you can food, drink, and music, but something tells me Dad is going to really like the pin-up girl contest. You better hurry though, because registration and ticket sales end in a few hours!
