American Rounds LLC, which was founded last summer, wants to make purchasing ammunition more accessible so they made the groundbreaking decision to setup AI-automated ammo vending machines at grocery stores all over the South including Florida.
Ammo Vending Machines Coming To Grocery Stores:
American Rounds LLC, the Dallas-based company launched its first Automated Ammo Retail Machine at at a grocery story located in Pell City, Alabama, late last year. Their CEO Grant Magers explained that the company wants to provide a safe way to sell ammunition. Magers said, “Currently ammunition is sold off the shelf or online. These environments lead to inadvertent sales to underaged purchasers and or (in the case of retail stores) a high theft rate.”
According to WFLA, the company strives on keeping ammo safe by keeping it out of the hands of minors or anyone using a fake ID. They do this by keeping the ammo inside retail locations and use facial recognizing ID scanners before you can purchase any ammo. The company prides themselves in protecting their customers by not selling any of their information and will not sell their data. The vending machines themselves are very heavy, weighing 2000 lbs. and say they are very secure from theft. Their team are supporters of law-abiding responsible gun ownership this providing this service helps. The company are big believers in the second amendment and want to provide a safe and secure method to sell ammunition. It the first of it’s kind and they’re very proud to start offering their ammo vending machines all over the country eventually. However, they are starting with southern states first.
