Florida Joker Wants ‘A Mil Or Two’ From GTA 6
The new GTA VI trailer dropped last week and got the internet buzzing. From featuring scenes straight out of your average Florida headlines to musical festivals, but one fan wasn’t too happy with what he saw. The Florida Joker is looking to take it to the bank after seeing a mugshot of a character in the game trailer.
We’re not here to take sides, but Lawrence Patrick Sullivan, the Florida Joker, isn’t the first person to go after GTA and Rockstar Games for their imagery. Sullivan is a south Florida resident and tattoo model. His mugshot went viral for his Joker like face tattoos that resemble the famous Batman Villain.
Sullivan shared his thoughts on Tik-Tok after the trailer was released. In his Tik-Tok, he shows a side by side of his mugshot vs the characters mugshot. The mugshot in the game shows a man with face tattoos and purple hair that caught the eye of Sullivan.
The Florida Joker, Lawrence Sullivan, said in his TikTok, “For everybody sayin’ that I’m Hallucinating, that I’m not the Joker from GTA 6, you out you’re out your G*****n nuggets. GTA we gotta talk GTA … You gotta give me like a mil or two.”
History of the Florida Joker:
The Florida Joker isn’t a stranger to attention. Back in 2017, his mugshot was bouncing around the Web like a beach ball at a Nickelback concert. He was arrested for allegedly carrying a loaded gun in his pocket without a conceal and carry permit.
At the time, Sullivan was sporting green hair and colorful face tattoos resembling Ledger’s award winning Joker. Again in 2018, Sullivan was picked up in a Pinellas County Home for violating his probation. He missed a few court ordered appointments.
In an interview from WFLA in his cell in 2018, The Florida Joker gave some background on his ink. He said that the Joker reminds himself of a rose and his tattoos have helped him earn money. The tattoos represent rebirth to Sullivan through his many tragedies that he’s faced in life.
Does GTA IV owe the Florida Joker?
The GTA VI trailer is fueled by the wild side of South Florida stories and carries on the reputation of taking inspiration from real life events. This doesn’t come as a shock for Rockstar Games. Back in 2014, Lindsey Lohan tried to sue, unsuccessfully, Rockstar Games over a character that she thought resembled her.
