Bad Bunny & Adidas Might Just Have The Sneaker Of The Summer
This summer we’ve gotten some pretty dope sneaker drops. The most recent, and my favorite from this specific artist, the Adidas Bad Bunny collaboration. This time around, they’ve put the Campus silhouette has been put to rest, and they are now focusing on the popular Gazzelle sneaker. Reggaeton’s biggest name and one of the world’s biggest brands are connecting on the hottest sneaker of the summer. We dive in to unbox and see what the hype is all about.
Bad Bunny and Adidas really brought a fresh new take on a classic sneaker. The Gazzelle and Samba have been a popular buy as o recent. I had no idea, nor did I get the memo that the fashion world has dubbed an indoor soccer shoe to be the new fad but, here we are. I’ve never been a fan of either but this new collab had me singing a different tune. I loved Bad Bunny’s spin on this shoe.
First off, the sneaker had me, when I saw that it was an ode to Puerto Rico. The sneaker features the island’s capital on the sides. Being Puerto Rican, I just had to have the sneaker. I also was feeling the colorway with the baby blue with white trim. The toe box was different than any other Gazzelle shoe, and I wasn’t mad at the gum bottom sole. However, I was not a fan of the shoe tag on the back of the sneaker. I don’t’ like walking around with my shoe size being broadcast on my heel. Good thing it’s not a big tag on the back.
This shoe is in my top 5 sneaker rotation for the summer, and I can’t wait to see more colorways from this new shoe from Bad Bunny & Adidas. The new colorway will drop on August 17th. Will you be copping this sneaker?
