5-Year-Old Twins Found Dead After Their Mother Died By Jumping Off Of A Florida Bridge
Did your heart drop when you read this headline? Mine did. Yes you read it right, ” 5-year-old twins found dead after their mother died by jumping off of a Florida bridge.” The twins were found dead inside a Sanford home on Friday. Sanford is about 2 hours From where I I’ve in St. Petersburg.
Witnesses reported seeing the mother, Catorreia Hutto, driving the lake Jessup Bridge in Oviedo. She was seen stopping, getting out and then sadly Jumping. Her body was found floating and she was later pulled out of the water.
After finding Hutto, the police then went to check on the twins at their Sanford home. The twins were found dead, but how they died is a mystery. A gun was found, but no trauma or blood were apparent.
A coroner’s official said that an autopsy could “lead to a conclusion about cause and manner of death for the children within 48 hours but that information might be sealed by detectives if they continue to investigate.”
As of now, it is still suspected that the mother did kill her twins before committing suicide. Huttos mother said that Catorreia had faced a lifelong battle with depression. There were however no signs of her mental health declining. Police say the family appeared to be struggling financially due to the little food found at the home. Also the twins who had special needs had not been to school since October 13th.
Huttos neighbor Eddie Gray released a statement saying, “Just wish someone could’ve known, you know? Maybe would’ve been able to step in. You see them passing, you just wave and say hello, and you go on. Maybe if she had someone else to talk to, could’ve made a difference.”
I really want to know about the twins father? Is there something he could have possible done to save his kids lives? It takes a village, and we all have to look out for one another. Be kind, because you never know what someone is going through. Praying for this family. Rest In Peace to those sweet innocent twins.
