Florida Man's vehicle is an eyesore and his community wants it gone! Usually I would side with the  owner of the car but in this situation I feel differently. If I was his neighbor, I would totally want him to move it. This "Mad Max" style limo is parked in a neighborhood of Cape Coral which is about 2 hours from where I live in St. Petersburg.

Florida Man Has "Mad Max" Style Limo Sitting In Front Of His Home

Have you seen the movie Mad Max? If you have, you know exactly how this limo looks. Troy Pavel built the 2-story limo that is sitting in front of his Cape Coral home. Pavel describes the limo as being "post-apocalyptic."  He built it in honor of his friend who passed away a couple of years ago.

Pavel said the limo is a hit with some, but many neighbors want him to move it. Raphael Santana who is the association manager of apartments across the street said quote "he should definitely move it. Everyone here want's him to move it, and he's never done it." If I was his neighbor, I would be upset as well. Love the creativity but it looks like it belongs in a junk yard or museum.

Code Enforcement Has Been Called Numerous Times

Pavel has had code enforcement called on him many times but here is nothing they can really do. Code officers determined the vehicle is registered and operating on city roadways. The vehicle meets the definition of a passenger vehicle, allowing it to be parked on paved surfaces in residential-zoned areas. There are no code violations.

Could he park it in his backyard? No, Land development code requires vehicles that are parked on private property to be on impervious surfaces like a road, driveway or parking lot. Would you be upset if you were his neighbor? Feel free to email me Babs@wild941.com

Here Are The Dirtiest Cities In Florida

Lawnstarter created a list of the dirtiest cities in America. Huston came in at number one.  Out of the 152 cities on the list, 9 of them are in Florida. Lawnstarter compared the cities across 4 categories. Pollution, Living Conditions, Infrastructure And Consumer Satisfaction. 9 Florida cities made the list out of 152 cities across the U.S., but only 2 of them were in the top 20. Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale were the dirtiest cities in Florida, ranked at #18 and #20 in this study.

We try to respect our beaches here in Florida, but can't always guarantee that the tourists do the same. Is Your city on this list? Are you shocked? Below are the 9 cities that made the list! Some on this list I am shocked by. I didn't think Hollywood or St. Pete would be on here.
