Former Bucs Player’s Car Bursts Into Flames On Tampa Highway
This is a scary situation! A fan favorite from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers encountered a terrifying situation late Tuesday morning. Leonard Fournette was driving along I-275 when his car suddenly burst into flames. As far as we know, we don’t know why the Dodge Durango suddenly went ablaze. It could have been a mechanical or electrical issue. The former Bucs running back posted the damage to his Instagram account and shared how thankful he is that he’s okay.
“Man it was one of those days today, but I would like thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I’am still blessed”
Good news: Leonard Fournette escaped a very scary moment earlier today 🙏

His car caught fire while he was driving, as you can see from the video, it could've been really bad.
Fournette shared video of his burned SUV on the highway in his Instagram.
Fournette wrote: "Man it… pic.twitter.com/Wq6pfjIlgi
You could really tell that Fournette loved that car. He posted a picture showing off the whip on his Instagram just a few weeks before. You can tell it’s not your average Dodge Durango. It looks to have custom wheels and interior, which is not cheap. Although, we’re pretty sure he won’t have a problem finding a replacement. Fournette is currently a free agent in the NFL. He was released by the team last month and still has not signed with another team.
Many other NFL players have commented on the post. Jalen Ramsey, Stevan Ridley and Frank Clark all expressed their concerns for Fournette. WFLA has pictures of the car on fire. Check those out here.
