South Tampa Publix Joins List Of Stores With Pours Cafe
You can now sip beer while you grocery shop at this South Tampa Publix location. The recently updated store reopened on March 2nd after it’s ground-up renovation. This new store even features a Pour Café, a new addition to select Publix stores. At these “cafe’s” you can enjoy craft seltzers, beer, on-tap kombucha, smoothies and more! There’s also a seating area making this a great spot to “work” remotely. On top of all the new tasty beverages to try, this Publix also features a burrito bowl station, pizza, and grab and go sushi.
Thatssotampa.com has a quote from Publix media relations manager, Hannah Herring. On the opening of the South Tampa Publix she said “We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to their Gandy Publix, introducing them to an array of new offerings and providing them with the service and quality products they know and love.”
According to Publix’s website, this is the only Tampa Bay area Publix where you can sip while you shop. There is a Publix in Downtown Tampa on Channelside Dr that does offer craft beer and happy hour, but I don’t believe it has an “official” Pour café.
If you want to see what all the hype is about, the South Gandy location is at: 3617 W. Gandy Boulevard
