McDonald’s Says New Recipe Resulted In The ‘Best Burgers Ever’
You probably haven’t noticed any changes in Tampa Bay yet, but McDonald’s is expecting to roll out 4 changes to their burgers. Soon, every Big Mac in the country will have these four changes.
They aren’t major changes, like using a meat-free patty or new Mac Sauce. But according to News Channel 8, the company says that these subtle moves have resulted in the “best burgers ever.”
These are the 4 changes McDonald’s is making for their burgers:
- New buns! The first change is implementing new softer, “pillowy” buns that will be toasted golden brown
- Instead of topping the sandwiches with raw onions, McDonald’s is now going to start adding onions to the patty’s while they are being grilled. This will give the onion a caramelized, sweeter flavor, instead of the sharp taste of raw onion.
- They are adjusting the heat to their grills for that perfect sear.
- Adjusting the heat for “perfectly melted cheese.”
These changes will be applied to the burgers on McDonald’s menu, including the Big Mac, the McDouble, and the classic burgers. Mickey-D’s hasn’t tested the new recipe in Florida yet, but expect to make the change nation wide by 2024. Personally, I don’t think it will make that much of a difference. McDonald’s is usually known for messing up my order anyways.
