$20k Of McDonald’s Food Stolen And Sold To Harlem Bodega
Harlem Bodega’s are notorious for selling a variety of items from food to electronics, often the items are counterfeit.
As reported by DNAInfo, Kojo Lockhart, a shifty truck driver, was able to steal $20k worth of hamburgers, McNuggets, fries, and apple pies from the delivery truck he was driving, and sell it to a Harlem Bodega. Along with the food he managed to grab condiments such as ketchup and special dipping sauces.
The operation was busted after police kept seeing customers leaving the bodega with signature McDoanlds items. Th 42 year-old driver was immediately terminated from his company.

“Martin Brower is aware of the incident involving a former employee and alleged theft of customer merchandise,” a Martin Brower spokeswoman said in a statement. “Once we learned of this incident, we immediately terminated the employee for cause and continue to work closely with law enforcement during its investigation.”
The store has denied any participation or knowledge of lockhart’s crime. Currently no one has been charged while the investigation is on going.
