Texas School District Will Allow “Paddling” As Punishment
Time-outs must not be doing the trick at a school district in South Texas.
Hollywood Unlocked reported that Three Rivers Independent School board has voted on the new discipline policy for the upcoming school year, and paddling is allowed.
The corporal punishment comes with two conditions. First, only a behavior coordinator or principal can decide if the student should receive a paddling. Second, the parent has to sign off at the beginning of the year, giving or turning down permission to paddle their child if he/she misbehaves.
What are your thoughts on the decision?
