Teacher Suspended After Asking 5th Grade Students To Justify The KKK

The teacher is based out of Irmo, South Carolina and is currently suspended after asking her 5th grader to justify the KKK.

The unidentified teacher from Oak Pointe Elementary School is said to have assigned students this question: “You are a member of the KKK. Why do you think your treatment of African Americans is justified?”
Another question within the assignment asked:
“You are a freedman. Are you satisfied with your new life? Why or why not?”
