Data Shows New Yorkers Fled to Florida in Huge Numbers During Pandemic
New data has revealed that thousands of New Yorkers fled to Florida during the pandemic.
The numbers came from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
According to the Washington Examiner, the data shows that over 33 thousand New Yorkers exchanged their New York licenses for Florida licenses between September of 2020 and March of 2021.
Officials say one of the main reasons for the surge was due to parents wanting to get their kids back into in-person classrooms.
Can’t blame them… Tampa knows how to have a good time!
