Florida Man Pulls The These Are Mints Not Drugs Card
A Tarpon Springs man tried to telling cops that a plastic bag found in his backpack were breath mints, not meth. An officer saw the guy driving and knew the man from a prior police related incident. The cop also knew his driver’s license had been revoked.
He was pulled over, taken into custody and his car was searched. That’s where cops found a backpack with drug paraphernalia and a baggie containing 2.6 grams of meth. When asked about the drugs, the man said the meth wasn’t meth, they were breath mints.
He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license.
