A Florida woman in Citrus County was arrested after officers found 300 rats in her home. Shannon Marie Morgan,38, was arrested after police went to check on an animal cruelty complaint. According to the press release from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found aquariums filled with snakes as well as feces and urine all around the home.

According to TOO FAB, there was a dog and a ferret in cages in a bedroom and another bedroom was infested with roaches. Officers said the animals did not have food and water. Officials said they witnessed multiple cats tearing apart a rat in the child’s bedroom. One of the bedrooms had over 300 rats and 50 other rodents in cages. Animal Control was called and they removed seven cats and one dog.
