Road Rage Leads To Two Dads Shooting Each Others Daughters
Two dads shot each others daughters during an incident that lasted for “several miles” and spanned two counties. William Hale, 35, and Frank Allison, 43, have both been charged after a road rage incident led to a shootout on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said that the men have been charged with attempted murder.
According to witnesses, the men were driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic “brake checking” each other. According to Sheriff Bill Leeper, someone in Hale’s truck threw a plastic bottle into an open window of the Murano that was being driven by Allison. Allison then grabbed his gun, fired a shot at the truck and speed off. That shot hit Hale’s 5-year-old daughter in the leg. Hale then caught back up Allison and fired seven or eight rounds at the Nissan. One of those shots hit Allison’s 14-year-old daughter in the back, causing a collapsed lung.
When the two man saw a patrol car they pulled over, got out and started yelling each other. The deputy on the scene eventually broke it up and attended to the two injured girls. They were taken to the hospital and treated with non-threatening injuries. Both men were arrested and charged with attempted murder. [Source: Fox 13]
