High Prices Won’t Be The Only Thing Getting You High At Florida Gas Stations
If you have a valid Florida medical marijuana card, the next time you fill up your tank at Circle K, you may be able to fill up your weed stash too. Green Thumb Industries Inc., one of the largest US cannabis producers, signed a deal with Circle K gas stations, to sell licensed marijuana at their Florida gasoline retailers.
The partnership will begin next year with 10 of Circle K’s 600 locations in the state.
The “RISE Express” stores – named after the company’s RISE dispensary chain – will have a separate entrance from the convenience store and feature smokable “flower”, pre-rolled joints, gummies and vapes.
By selling marijuana at gas stations, the partnership may help push the drug further into the mainstream. [Source: WFLA]
