Kendrick Lamar: Fans Convinced He Stole ‘Not Like Us’ Lyrics From Tweets
Kendrick Lamar is under a bit of fire from some fans, who are convinced he stole “Not Like Us” lyrics from tweets. “Not Like Us” is Kendrick’s latest diss track in the feud against Drake, which has taken over social media by storm. From dance challenges and hilarious but scathing bars, fans took a deeper dive into the lyrics and noticed many of the similarities from fans’ tweets months before the release of the track.

All of the tweets were sent prior to Twitter becoming X and this predated when users were able to edit tweets. Additionally in X, according to its official site, you can not edit an old tweet and you can only edit certain post types for up to one hour and only in-app with a premium account.
On Drake’s parody diss track “Buried Alive, Pt. 2, Interlude,” he addresses Kendrick using Twitter to get responses. “You been hatin’ for a very long time/It feel like Twitter ghostwritin your reply,” he raps.
Drake and Kendrick Lamar 2024 Feud
Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been going back-to-back over the last few weeks. Kendrick Lamar addressed how he feels on from Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Like You. “Yeah, get up with me, f— sneak dissing/’First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches,” Kendrick raps.
He adds, referencing J. Cole and Drake’s lyrics on “First Person Shooter”: “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Motherf— the Big 3, n—-, it’s just big me.”

Ever since Kendrick’s guest verse on “Like That,” the two have been taking lyrical shots at one another. The Compton native claims that Drake is a pedophile has ghostwriters and doesn’t claim an alleged 11-year-old daughter.
The last diss track to come about so far is Drake’s “The Heart Part 6.” The Toronto native dropped the track over the weekend. Drake claims that Kendrick’s kids aren’t his and are actually Dave Free’s, the former president of Top Dawg Entertainment whom K. Dot was signed to for 10 years. Additionally, Drizzy claims that Kendrick is physically abusive to his wife and that he cheats on her as well.
