Tekashi69 Associates Indicted In Chief Keef Shooting
Three of Tekashi69’s associates have been hit with federal indictments.
One of the associates, Kintea McKenzie, also known as New York rapper Kooda B, is facing charges in relation to the June 2018 attempted shooting of Chicago rapper Chief Keef in New York City’s Time Square. Although Kooda B is indicted, Chief Keef (whose government name is Keith Cozart) was not harmed in the shooting. According to TMZ, 6ix9ine (whose real name is Daniel Hernandez) told investigators that Kooda B was the person behind the shooting. He was reportedly paid $10,000 to shoot the “I Don’t Like” rapper.

Anthony Ellison and Denard Butler, the other two colleagues of Tekashi69, who were identified in the report, are allegedly expected to arrive in court today. The new charges that they face are currently unknown. Thirty-one-year-old Ellison is a former member of 6ix9ine’s management team, who is currently awaiting trial for the summer 2018 kidnapping and robbery of Tekashi69. 6ix9ine claimed that he was kidnapped and robbed of $750,000 in jewelry and $20,000 in cash after a video shoot. The alleged kidnapping transpired on July 22, 2018. As a result, Ellison was indicted by a grand jury last October, and he was officially arrested and charged November 6, 2018.
Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill, who has had several run ins with the law had something to say about the entire ordeal. He took to Twitter yesterday to air out his frustrations. Apparently, the “Championships” rapper feels that the scenario is asinine.
