GloRilla Gets Emotional At The BET Hip Hop Awards
Last night was the BET Hip Hop Awards. Not only did GloRilla do an amazing performance with her back up dancers, she also won an award for “Best Breakthrough Artist”. She was so nervous and couldn’t even talk. She was crying and in tears when Tyrese handed her the award. F.N.F. (Let’s Go) was released at the end of April 2022. Which means in just 5 months her whole entire life has changed! Hard work and dedication pays off. Any given day, this could happen to you too!
Glorilla is a new female rapper from Memphis, Tennessee is coming through hard and on top this year! GloRilla gained the spotlight when she released her and Hitkidd’s record F.N.F. (Let’s Go), which ended up charting at #1 on Billboard – US Mainstream R&B/Hip Hop airplay. Outside of Interscope records signing her to a deal, Yo Gotti also jumped in and signed her to his “Control Music Group.”
In the F.N.F. (Let’s Go) song she raps about how she just broke up with her man who was cheating and she’s hanging out with her girls and forgetting about him. The catchiest lyrics are “Outside hanging out the window with my ratchet-axx friends. Let’s gooo at the red lights twerking on them headlights”. It’s definitely a female empowerment record. She also recently released a remixed version of her record “Tomorrow” ft. Cardi B. This record is flying up the charts and taking over the streams in the matter of just a couple of weeks.
